The history of Chemical Industries Limited

Chemical Industries Ltd was founded in 1982 by Mr. Aubrey G. Choy (CEO) with the desire of reducing the high cost for industrial cleaning chemicals in Barbados.  Mr .Choy found it very challenging as a small Island state importer to negotiate any significant leverage with the big USA wholesalers and manufacturers that would impact prices on the ground. 

As a result, Mr. Choy and his partner sought alternative ways for addressing his product cost and eventually it became absolutely clear that manufacturing his own products would be the most viable way forward for the company. With a clear vision, Mr. Choy, Mr.Trevor Millington (Chemist), a team of five and the necessary infrastructure gave birth to a vibrant chemical manufacturing company. We can proudly say 32 years on, Chemical Industries Ltd is still ensuring quality cleaning products are available at very affordable prices.
